Translation of Documents

If your documents (for example, academic records) are in a language other than English or French, you will need to have these documents translated.

At the same time, your academic institution must send an original copy of your transcript and grades directly to the College.

The College will accept precise word-for-word translation by an accredited translator. You are responsible for all costs associated with translating your documents. The translator’s report with a cover letter must be forwarded to the College with a copy of the document(s) in the original language.

The translator’s signed cover letter needs to include:

• the exact name of the document(s) which have been translated;
• the method by which the translator received the document(s);
• the date of the translation;
• the translator’s identification number or seal (or both);
• the translator’s name, address and telephone number.

An accredited translator can be found by contacting:

If original documents of your academic credentials cannot be obtained, or you cannot locate a translator who has competency in translating your documents to English or French, please contact the College at (416) 972-9882 or 1-877-828-9380 or by e-mail registration to discuss acceptable alternatives.
