The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is pleased to announce that registration for the 2015 Annual Meeting & Education Day (AMED) is now open to all College members.
This year’s AMED will take place on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The theme of AMED 2015 is Building Capacity across the Spectrum. The event is free for members.
AMED 2015 will feature Laura Tamblyn Watts, LLB, SJD cand., as keynote speaker. An expert in elder law, Laura will use her keynote address to delve into important issues affecting many social workers and social service workers such as health care consent and advanced care planning. The event will also feature eight educational seminars for RSWs and RSSWs.
