The College is pleased to announce that this year’s Educational Forums for members will be taking place at the following locations:
- Sudbury: October 19, 2017
- Kitchener: October 26, 2017
The forums, which are held each year at different cities across Ontario, are part of the Glenda McDonald Educational Series. This initiative is in response to members who want to stay connected with the College but are unable to attend the Annual Meeting and Education Day (AMED) in Toronto. This half-day event is free of charge to members and is an opportunity to:
- Touch base with the College.
- Learn valuable skills to help you in your practice.
- Connect with your peers.

Keynote Address: Run Like a Girl? That’s so Gay! Rethinking Anti-Gay Language Use Among Middle School Students
This year’s keynote presentation in Sudbury will be given by Steven Solomon, MSW, PhD, RSW. Steven has been a popular speaker at several College events, including this year’s AMED, and members always find Steven’s presentations very valuable and engaging.
