The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is pleased to announce that its third Employer Roundtable will be hosted in Sudbury.

Who should attend: Social work and social service work employers in the Greater Sudbury Area
Employer Roundtables are part of the College’s Strategic Plan 2016–2019, intended to strengthen stakeholder and public awareness. The objective of the Employer Roundtables is to provide an opportunity for employers to:
- Learn about the College and its public protection mandate.
- Hear about the importance of College registration.
- Discuss the challenges of and barriers to hiring social workers and social service workers.
- Share ideas and feedback about how the College can better support employers.
This interactive event will be facilitated by College Registrar Lise Betteridge, RSW, and Deputy Registrar Laura Sheehan.
The feedback gathered from the discussion will be used to further explore ways the College can enhance its relationship with employers and provide new outreach opportunities going forward.
