Keynote speaker: Dr. Ramona Alaggia

This year’s event will include a keynote presentation by Ramona Alaggia, MSW, PhD, RSW, entitled “Gender Equality, Gender Equity and Gender-Based Violence: Mobilizing an Anti-Violence Movement in a Pandemic.” A leading researcher on gender and violence, Dr. Alaggia will use her presentation to explore the complex issues surrounding gender and violence, and how social workers and social service workers can promote inclusivity and stand up against gender oppression.
