The College held its virtual Educational Forum on October 27, 2021. Over 1,200 members registered for this year’s event with almost 900 participants tuning in live on our virtual portal and many more viewing the presentation on-demand, making this year’s Forum a great success! This year’s Forum featured an update by the College and a highly relevant and thought-provoking keynote address by Tina Gandhi, MSW, RSW. The College thanks Tina Gandhi once again for her informative and engaging presentation!

- “The Role and Value of Social Workers and Social Service Workers for Families of Children with Autism” presented by Tina Gandhi, MSW, RSW. The keynote address focuses on accessibility and disability issues in social work and social service work practice and highlights how social workers and social service workers can take a systemic and interdisciplinary approach when working with families of children impacted by accessibility and disability issues.
Participation and the CCP
As a College member, you can use viewing the Educational Forum as a learning activity towards the completion of your 2021 Continuing Competence Program (CCP). The CCP ensures that social workers and social service workers are qualified, enhance their knowledge on an ongoing basis, and remain up to date in their practice throughout their careers.
