The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (the College) invites you to attend its Annual Meeting and Education Day (AMED) on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. AMED is part of the Glenda McDonald Educational Series.
This year’s theme is Learning and Unlearning in a Changing Landscape. The College is pleased to have a keynote address titled Supporting First Nations Rights to Mental Wellness – What is the Critical Path? by Dr. Carol Hopkins, O.C., MSW, RSW, LL.D (Hon). The keynote address and eight educational sessions will take place throughout the day.

What to Expect at AMED 2022
The Annual Meeting, keynote address, and all eight educational sessions will be hosted LIVE via the AMED virtual portalon Friday, June 10, 2022, starting at 9 a.m. EST. All sessions will be available ON-DEMAND immediately following the event for you to view at your own leisure.
The AMED 2022 virtual portal will allow members to engage, interact, and participate during the live sessions.

Please note: The virtual portal will open in early June for attendees to update their profiles, create and add to their schedule and get familiar with the environment. We will contact registrants with any announcements and the latest information about the event.
Participation and the CCP
You can use your attendance at AMED, including your participation in any of the eight educational sessions, towards the completion of your Continuing Competence Program (CCP). The CCP ensures that social workers and social service workers are qualified, enhance their knowledge on an ongoing basis, and remain up to date in their practice throughout their careers.
