Co-Chair, Brian Seng-Low, RSW, welcomed Task Group members to the meeting, including its newest member, Chisanga Chekwe, Public Member.
The minutes from the April 11, 2022 meeting of the Task Group were reviewed.
Karen Mock, a human rights advocate and consultant and a guest at the meeting, facilitated a discussion related to the concerns raised in a petition sent to the College about its approach to anti-Semitism.
Denitha Breau, Deputy Registrar, referred the Task Group to the revised Equity Tool.
Sarah Choudhury, Director of Communications, presented the Public Awareness Campaign creative concepts for Indigenous publications to gauge their input for the College’s upcoming expansion of its public awareness campaign in two publications primarily serving Indigenous, First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. Given the tight timeframe, a decision was made to seek further feedback from Task Group members who were not in attendance.
