The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services is offering a funding opportunity to build workforce capacity in the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). The second round of funding through the Ontario Autism Program Workforce Capacity Fund has opened. Further details about the Fund and how to apply are available on the government’s website.
This time-limited fund provides 12-month grants to support capacity-building activities and projects led by children’s service providers who deliver clinical services in the OAP and their community partners. Applications will be accepted from now until October 27, 2022 at 5:00pm EDT.
Some members may be eligible to apply as children’s service providers. To learn more, members are invited to join one of the following information sessions in September:
- September 15, 2022: (1:00 – 2:00pm EST) (English Session)
- September 22, 2022: (11:00am – 12:00pm EST) (French Session)
- September 28, 2022: (11:00am – 12:00pm EST) English Session)
- October 5, 2022: (2:00 – 3:00pm EST) (English session)
Questions and answers from the information sessions will be circulated after the end of the sessions. Members are also welcome to submit questions about the Fund to the ministry at: OAP_CFA@ontario.ca.
