On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is hosting a virtual Employer Webinar for employers who are located in Electoral District #1.
Electoral District #1 comprises the north part of the province and includes the following areas:
- Kenora
- Rainy River
- Thunder Bay
- Cochrane
- Timiskaming
- Sudbury
- Algoma
- Manitoulin
- Parry Sound
- Nipissing
- Muskoka
The event will provide employers of social workers and social service workers with an interactive opportunity to:
- learn about the College’s public protection mandate;
- discuss the importance of registration; and
- explore some of the challenges that employers in Electoral District #1 face today.
The College’s Director of Complaints and Discipline, Richelle Samuel, Registration Manager, Susanne Pacheco, and Registrant and Renewal Manager, Paul Cucci, will facilitate the discussion and look forward to employers’ participation and feedback.
