ATTENTION EMPLOYERS IN OTTAWA AND SURROUNDING AREAS
On November 13, 2024, the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (the College) is hosting a virtual event for employers in Ottawa.
The College would like to invite your organization to participate in our virtual Employer Roundtable, which is being held on Wednesday, November 13th, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
The event will provide employers of social workers and social service workers with an interactive opportunity to:
- learn about the College’s public protection mandate;
- discuss the importance of registration;
- learn about the practice resources and supports available to employers; and
- explore some of the challenges that employers in Ottawa face today.
The College’s Director of Professional Practice, Christina Van Sickle, and Registration and Renewals Supervisor, Shelby Sargo, will facilitate the discussion and look forward to employers’ participation and feedback.
Please note that this roundtable will be held in English, but French-speaking staff will be available to answer any French questions/concerns.
