Online Portal Technical Tips

The below information will provide you with essential information on system requirements, browser compatibility and other tips to ensure a seamless experience while using the College’s Online Portal.

Use a Laptop or Desktop

We recommend that you use a laptop or desktop computer to access the Online Portal instead of a mobile device (e.g.: phone or tablet).

Use Supported Operating Systems

We recommend using one of the following up-to-date operating systems:

  • For PCs: Windows 10 or later versions
  • For Macs: macOS 10.13 or later or later versions

Use or Upgrade a Recommended Internet Browser

For the easiest experience, we recommend using one of the following web browsers:

Please note: Internet Explorer is not a compatible browser.

Enable Cookies and Disable Pop-up Blockers

Ensure that your browser has the cookies enabled and the pop-up blocker turned off.

Clear Your Browsing History

Clear your browser’s cache to remove temporary files and data that may display outdated information.

Use an In Private or Incognito Browsing Window

If you encounter any issues accessing the Online Portal,  open an In Private (Firefox or Edge) or Incognito (Chrome) window and try accessing the portal again. This will eliminate cached data, temporary internet files or potential conflicts caused by browser extensions.

For Google Chrome Users:

  • Open an Incognito window by clicking on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of your browser, then select “New Incognito Window”.

For Mozilla Firefox Users:

  • Open a private window by clicking on the three-line menu in the top-right corner of your browser, then choose “New Private Window”.

For Microsoft Edge Users:

  • Open an InPrivate window by on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of your browser, then select “New InPrivate Window”.
