Hope on the Horizon

On January 20, 2021, I had the opportunity to catch moments of the United States presidential inauguration ceremony. I listened intently to poet Amanda Gorman’s stirring recitation of her poem “The Hill We Climb,” in which the youth poet laureate spoke about hope and unity. Months later, Gorman’s poem continues to resonate with me as it does with millions of others.

Everything the College does comes down to protecting the public from unqualified, incompetent and unfit practitioners. Over the last year, the College’s Complaints and Discipline Team has seen an increase in complaints related to sexual abuse allegations.
